Next Meeting

At our next meeting, we’ll welcome Debbie Gregg, Community Engagement Officer at Wings Safe Housing & Support.
With more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Debbie has spent over eight years with Wings, beginning as a Youth Worker supporting children and youth affected by family violence. Today, she focuses on building community relationships, raising awareness, and connecting donors and volunteers with the organization’s work.
Debbie will share updates on Wings’ safe housing, programs, and services for women and children escaping family violence in Edmonton, along with how community partnerships help families rebuild their lives. Several of our members already support Wings, making this a great opportunity to learn more about their work and how we can continue helping.
Our meeting is held at the Chateau Nova Yellowhead. Come in the conference door and look for the banner. If you cannot come in person, please join us by Zoom: Meeting ID 780 222 3440; Passcode Mayfield.
Last Meeting Recap

We had a full house at our last meeting, with every seat at the table taken! It was wonderful to see such great attendance.
Ihor Kruk, International Services Chair for the Rotary Club of Sherwood Park, shared how Rotary helped him fulfill a 54-year ambition of driving across Europe to Ukraine. In October 2024, Ihor joined a Rotary UK humanitarian mission delivering aid to Ukraine, where he also witnessed and learned about Rotary projects supporting local communities.
With decades of Rotary experience at the club and district levels, Ihor shared how his passion for international service has connected him with projects and Rotarians around the world. His story was a great reminder of how Rotary opens doors to new experiences, meaningful connections, and opportunities to make a difference.

Get Involved: Join a Committee This Year
Looking for a meaningful way to get more involved this year? Serving on a club committee is a great way to volunteer your time, learn new skills, and contribute directly to the work that moves our club forward. Committees offer a chance to collaborate, share ideas, and shape the projects and initiatives that matter most to our community.
Whether you’re new to Rotary or a long-time member, your perspective and energy are valuable. If you’re interested in joining a committee or want to learn more about the options available, please reach out. We’d love to have you involved.
Members Anniversaries
We’re launching a new section on our social media channels to celebrate (and brag a little 😉) about the incredible members of our club and the unique stories behind their Rotary journeys.
We invite all members to share a Personal Expression Statement highlighting the impact Rotary has had on your life, and the difference you’ve made through Rotary. This is your chance to tell your story, your way, and inspire others along the way.
Please Use this link to submit your story. Or email Victoria directly with your story.
